Many of you may have had the experience of going to the website for the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to learn more about becoming or continuing on as an educator in Massachusetts.  The website is extensive and sometimes it can be difficult to find exactly the information you need.

The Department has responded to these needs and created the aMAzing Educators website.  This website can be found here or by Googling “amazing educators”.

Requirements and Licensure (and related links) concretely describes the state’s requirements for the four different types of license:  Preliminary, Initial, Professional and Temporary.

Job Search Advice  offers aspiring educators guidance about everything from understanding the hiring process to preparing for interviews.

The aMAzing Educators website provides a wealth of resources for teachers, whether you are just starting out or have been teaching for 20 years.  The easy-to-navigate pages will help you no matter where you are.
