Funding On the Way for Ed Eval Training in non-RTTT Districts

March 21, 2013 by Damon Douglas

The state (Elementary and Secondary education) is seeking applications for vendors who will provide educator evaluation system training for non-Race To The Top districts. These districts, which represent about a third of districts statewide, will qualify for $1500 in training per school when working with a state-approved vendor.

Because the applications are due March 25, one expects vendors to be selected this spring and ready to deliver trainings this summer and fall. The Collaborative, already a state-approved vendor for RTTT districts, is also applying for approval to work with non-RTTT districts.
