Representative John Scibak visited Easthampton High School’s 21st Century Community Learning Center After School Program on Tuesday, March 20th.  Scibak toured the program and received an update about what the after school program offers to students and their families within the Easthampton School District. Scibak spent time with students participating in a variety of activities, including Fitness Club, Rock Band, and Team Eats.

Team Eats, led by Karen Allen, was developed as a way to give Easthampton High School athletes a safe and fun environment in between school’s end and their daily practice. Student athletes receive homework support time with a teacher as well as help to cook different dishes, and share in a daily community meal before practice. Students complete school work and get re-energized before breaking for their practices.
