WESTFIELD, MA – Superintendent of Schools Suzanne Scallion announced Monday she plans to retire effective June 30, 2016.

Scallion officially notified the School Committee of her intention Monday night.

“This will give the committee the necessary and adequate time to prepare and launch a search for the new superintendent,” Scallion said.
