Judith Houle appointed interim Granby school superintendent

GRANBY, MA – The school committee last week appointed Judith Houle to serve as interim superintendent, subject to approval of a contract with her.
Although her contract does not expire until next year, current superintendentIsabelina Rodriguez has accepted the position of special education bureau chief for the state of Connecticut’s Department of Education, with a starting salary of $141,386. She expects to begin work with the state later this month.
The Granby school board is meeting Monday night in executive session to negotiate a contract with Houle.
