SOUTHAMPTON, MA – The William E. Norris Elementary School begins a new after school program for the coming school year, starting September 8th, 2015 for students through grade 5. The program will be run by the Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) of Northampton, MA.

This pilot program is an extension of the 21st Century After School programs currently run by CES in eleven Franklin, Hampshire and Hampden county schools.  The program provides an on-site supportive after school environment where students can focus on their homework and academics, spend time interacting with peers and adults, and participate in recreational activities, including sports and outdoor programs.  The program will draw on students’ interests and needs.

The William E. Norris Elementary School after school program will run Monday through Friday until 6 pm.  Families can choose which days their child will use the program. A healthy snack will also be included each day.

To pre-register, contact Chris Taggart, Director of After School, at 413 588 5577.
